Germany’s hospitals, unlike other medical tourism destinations, offer much broader and less tiered levels of care. Where as in India, for example, only specifically designed hospitals will be able to offer top-notch service and treatments, German hospitals provide a much more even keel across the spectrum.
Where bypass surgery in the US will cost US$30,000, in Germany it will only cost US$17,000; and a hip replacement, US$9,500 (as opposed to US$20,000 in the US). Dental procedures offer less of a saving with implants coming to about US$3,000, a saving of only approximately US$500 compared to the US.
