Bangkok International Hospital

Established in 1972, Bangkok International Hospital is one of Thailand’s largest, comprehensive medical centers. This is one of the leading private medical facilities in the country and operates an excellent International Medical Center.

The hospital maintains a highly qualified staff of 400 doctors and consultants alongside more than 600 nurses. Most of these doctors have been educated abroad at leading medical schools in North America and Europe. Translation services are available in 26 languages to assure that patients receive the best care available.

Bangkok International Hospital’s facilities are state of the art and include a Da Vinci Robotic Cardiac Surgery Theater allowing minimally invasive heart procedures. The hospital also boasts cutting edge cancer treatment facilities.

Inpatient procedures find patients staying in top-end recovery rooms at prices well below Western expectations. Rooms are equipped with a kitchenette, LCD television with satellite capability, an electrically adjustable bed, internet access and a telephone.

The hospital is divided into 16 specialized centers. The list of services available here is extensive, and international patients regularly enroll in heart surgeries (especially heart valve repair), cancer treatment therapies and brain tumor removal. The diagnostic equipment is state-of-the-art, and diagnostic procedures are equally popular.

The hospital’s International Medical Center (IMC) is a great benefit to international visitors. International services include international evacuation, pre-visit consultations over the internet and embassy liaison assistance. Meals are specifically catered to patients’ preferences and religious needs.
