Phuket International Hospital

Located in Phuket Town, this hospital is one of the largest in the region. It was the first privately run hospital in the region and has served the local community and tourists since its opening in 1982, upgrading to a new site 1993 and again in 2007.

Its new center is now six storey’s and offers two floors of outpatient services and specialist centers, including a modern dental clinic and a haemodialysis center, another two floors of up to date inpatient accommodation and indoor car parking for up to 150 vehicles.

The inpatient rooms have been designed with the patient in mind. They give way to an abundance of natural light whilst keeping noise to a minimum for patient comfort. The rooms are very generous in space so that family and friends can become part of the nursing team.

The specialist outpatient centers offer a wide range of facilities from private consulting rooms specialising in female services to a dedicated children’s section offering state of the art facilities with play areas for children to play. It was the first hospital in Thailand to treat medical vacationers from all over the world and is the largest plastic and aesthetic medical center in Phuket.

Phuket International Hospital has over 50 full and part time medical staff on call 24 hours a day to serve the needs of the public all highly trained and many of them gaining experience and qualifications from international universities worldwide.
