Hungary Medical Holiday / Vacation - Recuperating
Since major surgical procedures are not a common feature of Hungary’s medical tourism scene, it’s unlikely that visitors will undergo anything so invasive as to preclude the possibility of spending some time enjoying the country’s cultural attractions after treatment.
Budapest, the country’s capital city, is teeming with interesting sights including the Chain Bridge, Parliament Building, the Roman ruins of Aquincum and the UNESCO World Heritage site that is Castle Hill and the Castle district. Fascinating museums such as the Budapest History Museum and the Hungarian National Museum are also worthy of note.
Other cities worthy of a visit include Pécs with its reputation for music, opera and ballet and Eger with its elegant Baroque buildings.
