Israel Health & Safety

Israel is a safe country to travel to but an awareness of the current political situation is necessary and visitors are strongly recommended not to travel to disputed areas such as the West Bank and Gaza. There have been some terrorist attacks in cities such as Tel Aviv, but these attacks have not been directed at medical institutions. Tourist areas are considered safe, with a low crime rate in most.

There are no health concerns for travelers to Israel and visitors do not require any inoculations prior to their visit. Medical professionals normally speak English and healthcare is of an excellent standard, in line with other European countries. Temperatures can be quite high in the summer months, with the use of sunscreen advised.
