Italy Hospital Costs
European visitors have access to medical treatments in Italy at a much lower cost than those traveling from outside of Europe. However, treatment costs are, in general, much more competitive than in the US, with most care available at up to one-third of the equivalent in North America. Primary care at one of the country’s top private hospitals is estimated at US$125 per bed, per day, excluding treatment and medication.
