The country’s capital city, Warsaw, is where much of the medical tourist action takes place, with some of the most reputable clinics located here as well as some of the most skilled surgeons. Furthermore, accessibility makes the city the obvious choice for most patients.
For cosmetic surgical procedures, prices vary depending on the establishment, but on average prices can be four times less expensive than in other EU countries. For eye surgery, prices can be around six times cheaper.
Average prices for common procedures are: breast augmentation, $US2,200; single-area liposuction, $US1,500; rhinoplasty, $US1,400; facelift, $US1,700 and tummy tuck, $US2,300.
