Turkey Hospital Costs

Hospitals and clinics in Turkey specialize in dental, fertility and cosmetic treatments. Dental implants cost US$1,200, easily half the price of the same procedure in the US. A facelift in Turkey costs around US$5,500 (US$15,000 in the US). Similarly, rhinoplasty usually costs in the vicinity of US$4,000 (US$6,000 in the US).

Invitro fertilization treatments are often packaged as all-inclusive getaways, complete with extravagant hotels, Turkish baths and fine dining. These packages include 17 nights of accommodation and run at around US$6,000. The less packaged treatments (with accommodation left to the patient) run at about half the price.

Insurance policies may cover many of these overseas operations. However, in the event that patients cannot secure coverage, many of the more reputable hospitals and clinics in Turkey offer reasonable financing options to lure medical tourists. Most travel agents pair themselves with clinics and hospitals offering joint tourism/treatment packages.
