This research, published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health, reveals that individuals with erratic sleep patterns face a heightened risk of cardiovascular events, even if they are meeting the recommended sleep duration for their age group. What Does Sleep Regularity Mean?
So, what is sleep regularity? It refers to the consistency with which you go to bed and wake up each day. The study examined over 72,000 participants aged 40 to 79 who had no prior history of serious cardiovascular issues.
